@KMoore175 Although usually simply an expression, It most certainly can be considered correct phrase. "Over" is used to emphasize a high degree of exaggeration. Similar to using "minor" or "major" to emphasize a term on a spectrum where some gray area can be involved. Example: You're a "major" troll if you go out of your way to tell someone that a word in many dictionaries is not an actual word. You may have been taught this, but that doesn't make you right..

@phil656565 Racers slide bike and forth across the seat all the time (If this is what he was referring to). He may have been leaning off the bike too much for his entry and his body clipped the wall. But yeah I agree the announcers on these video shows usually don't know what they are talking about, embellishing the actual truth all the time. Then the posters make it worse by using false titles. Crash wasn't at 170mph. That was his top speeds beforehand in other areas.

This was the Isle of man TT road race, guy was Richard Quayle, clipped the wall on the left hand side, that's why no hands.

@wasitthat announcer says 170 MPH which probably means at some point he did or has done 170MPH, but not at the time of the crash.
