  • WHAT YEAR IS THIS? ANYBODY???

  • I have been doing some research, and I found that this TV special aired on November 26, 1974.

  • Thank you so much! Excellent stuff! Did he do a lot of these specials/shows? They would be a great idea to release on DVD, I think. Since he's got legions of fans in the US, UK and Japan - and me in Denmark. :)

  • You are very welcome! I am sure he did a lot of shows, but this is the only one I have.

  • Duh - what you do you think a video called Jack Jones Special Part 1 1974 would have been recorded?

  • He still has a great voice here, but that hair has got to go.

  • Alrighty then... seventies tv specials were often quite weird... but after watching this clip I guess I better understand George Kirby as a guest on Jack's show--they did seem very playful and relaxed together, as though they were truly friends.

  • Surely one of the greatest voices that ever lived.

  • yess george kirby :D

  • Very handsome and a wonderful singer. My favorite singer of all time.

  • A gentleman with a warm voice even when he talks, simply indicates the

    voice quality of a singer.

    That's Jack Jones folks!

  • I can't believe I'm losing you -- is the only song that has ever made me shed a tear. Honey by Bobby Goldboro didin't even do that for me. The way the orchestra falls at the end is powerful.
