Hi legrandmaitre
Thanks, and I'm with you, even though I like some of Walter's disciples and I'm friends with them...
You'll find my ravings regarding Walter on many YouTube sites with reference to (from memory) Mellow Down Easy, Flying Saucer, One More Chance With You, Temperature (take 38) You're Sweet, Muddy's Just To Be With You and Jimmy Rogers's You're The One. There's probably more.
Thanks for the video: great pics (some new to me) - and a very enviable hi-fi!
Best wishes

Yeah great mate - but all of 'em would have been blown off stage by Little Walter. For god's sake, after all these years give credit to the guys who created this music in the first place, not some overpaid twit in a suit who's copped the licks.

Hi eldorado62
In answer to your query, there's quite a few great players out there: Rod Piazza is a superb player, and his own man but he can and will play this piece just right.... Then there's the Canadian band Bharath & The Rhythm Four, Dennis Gruenling, Mark Hummel, Rick Estrin, James Harman, West Weston, Magic Dick, Kim Wilson, Annie Raines, Lee Sankey, Curtis Salgado...
You'll find all of these people on YouTube. Enjoy!
Best wishes from a fellow - and lifelong - Little Walter fan.

Incredible sound. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Great haunting atmosphere. Who plays anything like this today??
The distortion, power, and long solo make this like a rock song - before there was even rock-n-roll.

Thanks for the comment. I remember somebody said that Little Walter was a Jimi Hendrix in the world of blues harmonica.
