  • at 5:00 what am I supposed to do ?

  • Hi SjPedro :)

Before that, it asked for the username and password. If you typed in your password, just wait for a few minutes then the installation would complete.

  • Well i just closed it down and started it up again and he started booting up...thanks for the guide anyway....most people might not thank you...but I do..so Thank you and 5 stars for this video :)

  • Thank you :)

  • just one more thing....I am from portugal so I need the keyboard in the portuguese layout..how can I change that?

Sorry for that I am a Linux newbie :)

  • Don't worry about it, if you have any question, feel free to ask. I may not know the answer to all your questions but I will try my best ;p

Back to your question, you are inside Ubuntu now, right?

Now open the terminal and type this:

    sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow console-setup

after that, it will allow you to select your keyboard. To start the terminal: Applications => Accessories => Terminal

  • ah, a better way is to go to Systems => Preferences => Keyboard.
