The 24 Days of Final Fantasy III -- Day Sixteen (1/4)

This challenge is taken from a site called loogslair.net. The goal is quite simple; to play the SNES Final Fantasy III for 24 days from December 1 - December 24. I have decided to upload excepts of my progress so far. Given the time it takes to prepare a clip and upload it, I will not be able to provide a video every day, or on the same day as I play. I do, however, intend to provide video exceprts to demonstrate my progress...or lack thereof.

Since Day 16 was only 30 minutes of playing time, I've decided to upload my playing for the entire day. Can I save Cid from his seemingly inevitable death?

If you want him to recover, yes, but his health depletes at constant rate, so if you feed him sorta-fast fish and not the really slow ones, it staves off the reaper.

To be honest, though, I really wasn't trying one day or another.

Whenever I tried to heal Cid with the fish, they never would show up in the water. That is why I always had him perish. It was too much trouble to save him.

I thought you had to feed him only fast fish?
