They thought it would make him cool to fly away like superman.

FF7 has a plot that can be associated with our current situation regarding the environment and corrupt governments, also the backstory to Cloud is amazing.

I do like Sephiroth for being bad-ass, but he's not as developed as he could be. The best FF villain would be Kefka from 6, he doesn't WANT anything, like most villains, he just thinks the world should be destroyed.

Everybody knows that 4 was considered the best by most people.

(Except the people who think FF7 is the best even though Sephiroth is really generic and a silly villain.)

Although IMO 1 was the best.
