Our initial dyno test of our 2007 Toyota Tundra 2WD Regular Cab with a 5.7L V8. As explained in this video, we tested the vehicle at 5300 ft altitude, which means we lose about 16% of the power. Combined with 10-15% driveline loss, our test truck's total horsepower rating loosely jives with Toyota's 381hp flywheel rating.

  • What gear did you dyno it in? When you did the dyno how did you keep it from shifting gears or keep the traction control from coming on which is what happened with my 2010.
