@NightSociety Sometimes they move the frequencies around, and you have to re-scan with your TV. TV only detects them due to not being encrypted, but if they moved the channel around, and the cable boxes all get the update, your TV won't since it's not registered on the network. Also, just cause you aren't getting it, don't mean it's gone, it could be your TV just has too weak of a digital signal, but your analog/local channels are good. I know my Digital QAM TV gets the local HD's with Comcast

Comcrap will not allowed u to get recieve free local HD channels on their digital receive same as u get on the local air, unless u subscribe to HD on a HD reciever. Per FCC, this is illegal but they still continue to do it, guess customers aren't familiar or comcrap paid the gov't to shut up, there's something fishy about it. :(

If you want to know the Internet speed in your area, goto and click the link that states fastest available, then a window will open where you type in you address, after that the internet speed will be listed in your area at that time. I also learn Xfinity is funneling out in phases.

Xfinity is an enhancement to the existing Comcast system. Part of Xfinity envolves increased bandwidth which allows faster internet speed, more digital and HD channels,(currently Comcast has the most HD and 3D Content in the industry) and much more. I have had AT&T, Direct TV, Time Warner and now Comcast, truth is most issue involves wiring connection. When all is connected correctly with the correct gauge of wiring, Comcast Xfinity is now the best company for cable, internet and phone.

I looked into this, Comcast offer programming for the american people, In our Country, we have Blacks, whites, europeans, south american, mexicans, and so on. Comcast offers programming for everyone. With their bandwidth expansion (Xfinity) there will be more HD, 3D, OnDemand, international channels for everyone.

A small group of monkeys could run a company better than Comcast. Xfinity will be just as awful, no matter how much money they spend on making it look like it really is 'the future'. I had to get this fucking DTA bullshit just so I could watch TV again, it took them about a week to send it out, and now I have all these cords coming out of my wall, two remotes, and and a cheap little toy on top of my TV. I'm real glad I have all this to trouble me, while having shit service.

Just wanted to check in and state for the record that Comcast is awful. I checked their website for the internet speeds for Xfinity and it just says "Fastest available".....what an epic failure this company is
