Wyoming Signatures' Jeff Lockwood probes the emerging literary genre of creative nonfiction in an interview with Andy Fitch, who is a new faculty member in UW's program in creative writing as well as a celebrated and accomplished voice in the field of creative non-fiction.

On the one hand, we have journalists who give us the unvarnished reports of the world, and on the other hand we have fiction writers who give us imaginative accounts of human experience. Might there be a place for something in between? That niche is now being filled by creative non-fiction.

Interview filmed in the UW Television studios for Wyoming Signatures in November 2009. Aired on Wyoming Public Televsion, as part of Wyoming Signatures. Producer: Mary Jung; Director: Ali Grossman; Cameras:Steve Costin and Ben Froidevaux; Audio: Norm Mabbitt
