@southernbeast13 well said. using drugs is a question of health not morality. there are very few people who get shit from drinking coffee even though 3 grams of pure caffeine is enough to stop the human heart. most the seediness behind drug use is truly a result of it's prohibition. there are thousands upon thousands of dopeheads who would have lived quite differently in the 19th century.

@steveistheman84 - so if Mandolins are found in rock music does that make it Bluegrass?
-
Country is not Country. Banjos are not bluegrass. Music is Music. I ♥ is all! Go HANK!
-
Some people have a lot of nerve Country is Country and Hank 3 is one of my faves
-
@steveistheman84 , your stupid and dont know shit. Banjos and dobros have everything to do with country music. if u wanna hear reall music look up Made in the shade by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Look up some Earnest Tub, Jimmy Rogers, Hankv 1st, Johnny Cash. Ur stupid as shit think twice before posting some ignorent shit about how country is all about electric guitars and shit. If u had any sense moron u would know that real old country started before they had electric guitars.

you wanna see REAL country, fuck that "i'm a outlaw scumbag shit" and look up "i'll love you more today" by conway twitty. or george strait's "king of the mountain". that's real country.
-
sucks to see hank 3 veering away from REAL country. dobros and banjos and mandolins aint country. they're fuckin bluegrass. real country replaces those shitty instruments with a pedal steel and telecaster. he's still got good country songwriting, just not instrumentation.

@625rab "Nothing about him is anything but a joke" would be what you were trying to say, which is completely false. Nobody did more drugs than Johnny Cash, Elvis, etc. that made music what it is today. I'm not saying it's good or right but you can't negate someones artistic value by the choices they make in their personal lives.
