  • Ross, you believe that a person must repent and be baptized, to be saved! I believe the plan of savation has always been faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which includes repentance. After a person is saved, they should be baptized in obedience to Christ's command! Baptism is total immersion in water, in the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Ghost! That's Biblical salvation in a nutshell, to which I adhere to. You can believe what you want, and trust in baptism to save you. Thank you too.

  • Nice video, that's the way to get saved under the age of law when the Great Tribulation starts, But to get saved under the age of grace to enter the church is Acts 2:38, Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Jews, gentiles and Samaritans all came this way. Once the church is taken, then the last 7 years of law will take place. Then those scriptures will work during that time. Acts 2;38 for now.

  • @rossdaboss1959 Thanks for the nice comment! but I have to disagree with you on God's plan of Salvation. Salvation has always been by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8-9)

You quote Acts 2:38, as if there's no other Scripture on Salvation. Baptism is always treated as a symbol of what took place in our hearts, with the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus Christ! (Rom. 6) These verses clearly teach the symbolism of baptism from the spiritual perspective!

    Have a great day!

  • @parsonrobert Peter was given the keys to the kingdom, n he said, repent, n be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins n u shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is what i experience n it's a real supernatural experience. But if u believe otherwise, i'm not mad at u. I'm just following the way the church got started. Eternity is too long for me to second guest. Obeying Acts 2:38 fulfills all of the salvation scriptures. God bless you! Just a friendly word.

  • @rossdaboss1959 Yes, He was given the keys to the "Kingdom" being offered to the Jews! The gospel of "grace" (Acts 20:24; Gal.1:6) is what Paul offers to the "Church Age" Dispensation! Baptism is simple obedience after getting saved by the Gospel. We get baptized to show the death burial & resurrection of Christ, and we also confess our allegiance to Him as Lord of our life! Even Peter said "baptism" is a pattern, type, symbol of our salvation in Christ alone, and not our deeds!

    Take care!

  • @parsonrobert AMEN Brother "Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.Romans 6:4

  • @parsonrobert God has set up a plan of salvation for all people. God is not the author of confusion. In Acts, there was no confusion about how to be saved. The Jews, Gentiles n Samaritans all came the same way. Today there is confusion, i wonder why? The Bible shows n states his plan. Cornelius was a believer, but still he had to be saved. Acts 11:14. Just remember, we have to all give an account of what we teach. Galatians 1:8-9. Acts 2:42, Ephesians 2:20. I won't bother u again.

  • For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

    Galatians 2:19-21

  • @parsonrobert The keys were used for everyone. Remember Peter was sent to a gentile before Saul was Paul. If it was just believing to be saved, then why would God take Peter through all that n send him to Cornelius to give him words whereby he might be saved, if he was saved already? Acts 10:14. Take away Mark 16:16, Romans 6:3-5, Colossians 2:12, Acts 2:38, 10:48, 19:5, 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Galatians 3:27. Paul came the same way too. Acts 9:17-18. 1 Corinthians 14:18. He was not a hypocrite.

  • @parsonrobert So then, why was Christ baptized?

  • hey guys, believe everything you read.
