my icloud only saves photos and contacts that i just added but i want to back up both of those incase i break my iphone are those already saved on itunes when i sync my phone or is there a way please reply thanks!

contacts are saved to the cloud however photos are saved to your computer under my picures and a folder called photo stream. Your icloud doesn't hold all the photos in the cloud forever they hold recent photos like the last 30 or 60 days worth.
