Mark Driscoll's Mars Hill Gets a SALT ed

SALT MINISTRIES payed a visit to Mars Hill Church, the mothership ot the "cussing dude" pastor, Mark Driscoll. He is at the helm of a growing (read : "successful") group of churches composed of 8,000 young skulls full of mush (20 somethings) . this is to the author: i agree with what your saying baout christinaity being wasteful , but u cannot say u are sinless- because jesus came to help the sinners- it sais in the bible that the only sinless person is jesus christ- if anyone who has ever sinned is goign to hell than why did jesus come? he came to wipe us of our sin- period, and to teach gods love and commandments, u have sinned. u cannot say u havnt because proudness is a sin-lucifer got kicked out of heaven for being proud

@perez85tkd James 2:19 the devil also "believes" and trembles. Is he going to be justified too? You 'cherry pick' one verse out of context to justify and excuse disobedience to the gospel. Heb 5:9. Faith means obeying all that God says Mt 4:4, not merely a head nod in agreement to something in history.

@taylordrake4 FEAR OF GOD comes first- Prov 1:7 and Psa 111:10. Repentance (stop sinning) comes next-Lk13:3,5. Then (because of repentance)comes water baptism for God's pardon-Acts 22:16. Then comes receiving his indwelling Spirit- Acts 5:32, he who fears God, repents deepest and is forgiven much, loves (God) much. Love is obediance to God. Obediance is love for God. Faith is OBEDIANCE to God. Any faith less than obeying God is only "demon faith" James 2:19
