Handball grudge match grips Serbia's capital

Thousands of Serbian police have been deployed to provide security when the country's handball team takes on Croatia for a place in the European Championship final.

The measures follows recent attacks on Croatian fans.

Croatia's foreign ministry has officially complained to Serbia over this week's violence, and several tourist agencies canceled trips to Belgrade for Friday's match.

Why dont you tell people that more Serbes lived in Croatia under Croatian rule then those that rebelled and expelled 200 000 Croats ( not to mention the brutal killing of 8000 civilians while number of dead Serb civlians is in few hundreds).

@CyberPohleese Croatia did not begun arming itself in 1990 but somewhat later...and do you know why Croatia begun arming itself? Because the Yugoslav People's Army decided to withdraw all the arms from Croatia, you know the same arms that the Croatian people paid for over the decades for their own defense. And that same YPA was arming Serbian paramilitary groups within Croatia with those arms while Serbian politicians were filling their head with myths of nazi ustashe and other shit.
