On tour with Montana indie rockers, Volumen, we find a band whose measurement for success isn't album sales or fancy touring vans, but something far more important. This film won two awards in the 2006 International Documentary Challenge (www.documentarychallenge.org), and was a ton of fun to make!
When Is Volumen coming to my Town?

Heh.. it's pretty convincing, Travis, that you know what dicks we are without knowing our actual names. Sounds like you've really spent a lot of time with us. I'm buying beer if you change yer mind.

Volumen rock, in a creepy evangelical christian Devo way, but Bob Marshal is the the king of Missoula drummers. Among Albini, the Silkworm boys, and the Sasshole ladies in the Missoula rock hall of fame.

The Volumen are badass! Their music is mind-blowing and the guys in the band are incredibly nice. They'll rock a basement for a dozen kids 1000 miles away from home for free like it was a sold out arena.

Excellent!!
Good documentary. Any excuse to see slo-mo Shane-o headbanging.
