Finding records like this makes me wonder how many other good songs are out there that didn't reach Billboard's Top 40. Most mainstream radio didn't play songs that charted from 41 to 100 and many stores didn't sell them. 1969 Intrepid 45.
Just about the only song I knew by this group was a cover of the Beatles song "Beatles". I vaguely remember another song that may have been theirs, with a title like "Just Let It Come". I sometimes confuse this group with Smith, also a mixed gender group from a Mississippi River-bordering state that first came to my attention singing what I considered to be a Beatles song (although "Baby It's You", the song by Smith, was a song the Beatles covered rather than originated).
Those are the kind of songs I like the most. The late 60s-early 70s pop/rock that didn't make it. There's so much stuff I've still yet to hear. I'll bet this stuff played on the early FM stations.
