Oyakodon is very popular Japanese food like beef bowl from Yoshinoya. This recepi is kinda cheat but it tastes good and much faster to make it. The key is Mentsuyu which is actually Soba noodle soup base.. It's useful for this recipe. You can save your time for making dashi water if you have Mentsuyu on making Oyakodon. If you follow this video, it will only take less than 5 minutes! Enjoy!

Oyako-don 親子丼

  • i can see why you call it the cheat method...its suppose to have like chicken katsu in it rite?

  • @weigang1234

The reason why I call this is kinda cheat way is because I use mentsuyu. That means you don't have to make dashi soup. Mentsuyu has already seasoned by dashi and soy sauce as you know :)
