@seth3556r I would agree, but using a pick can improve the sound when there is no percussion to break up the sound. I'll use a pick when I play with 1 or 2 guitars and a piano. It really cleans up the sound.

hate it when bassists use picks, palm muting sounds way better. slap&pop or fingers should be used, not picks....
