@dlkirtley06 oh dont go blaming america for everything that goes wrong. its been happening way before all over. if you want to blame someone for messing up "pagan" holidays talk to the catholic church lol they changed many of them. modern times just made it worse by everyone. it just sucks how greed all over the world messes up traditions and true spirt of things. i hate most holidays, esp since they changed so much to not offend anyone that doesnt practice it lol..

As much as any 'christian' would like to hold onto the hope that there is a REASON for this one day of the year is assinine. @yiemona American history has created a commercial holiday and have complete disregard and disrespect for the true beginnings of this paegan 'holiday'. Those pictures are from Danish culture. Danish culture has deep roots. I think they would have a deeper understanding of this dates' historical value because of said culture. They obviously paint a pretty detailed portrait of it here!
