The Pledge of Allegiance, as read by Herbert Midgley.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.

  • god help america.. please

  • @MignonB1 i pledge no allegiance to the flag of the corporate states of america or the the cleptocracy, which stole the land, and plunged our nation into debt, insurmountable, with questionable futures for all

  • @alisoniturra none of the 10 amendment rights mean shit now...

  • @tubaliz1 Thank you... that's the idea behind the Union anyway!

  • How many atheists does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to actually change the bulb, and the other to videotape the job so fundamentalists won’t claim that god did it. God was added into the Pledge Allegiance in 1954 President Eisenhower and Congress added the phrase "under God" into the Pledge of Allegiance which violates the separation of religion from a Secular Government. As a real American I do not want to worship a Dead Middle Eastern Kid who is 33 years old as my God.

  • @MagicTellaVision

    a) He's not dead. He is very much alive.

    b) no one is forcing you to believe it.

    c) you're also not forced to say it.

welcome to the US. you're completely entitled to your own opinion, as long as you allow me mine.

  • How the pledge should have been written: I pledge my loyalty To the star spangled flag Of the United States of America And to the people For whom she waves One nation joined by a common dream Under the God of our forefathers Not divided by war, by poverty, nor by plague With all freedoms, opportunities, and fair justice To all who would play a fair part in our homeland To this I pledge. …just my opinion…
  • Shit was fuckin boss, if you didn't stand or like the pledge in the morning you are a loser
