these are very good tips, all except for not going against the grain. you can go against grain if you do it right.

Could be your razor, shaving gel/cream or your technique just make there you have a good razor and gel/cream and aftershave and then add on some lotion when your done and always clean the area well before and after you shave it with water as hot as you can stand and then cold to shrink your pores I all else fails use a electric razor my friend but try and get a good one like Remington for example

Yeah you should still put on aftershave even if it dose have alcohol in it. Then use a good lotion the alcohol in the aftershave kills off bacteria and germs and yes it dose dry out the skin but thats what you have the lotion for after your done shaving. even If you use a alcohol free after shave you can still have dryad out skin the important thing is just to put on lotion or a oil of some kind after your done shaving.

I do not suffer from body odor because I have a bath every once a week.. bathing is important.. though during summer by the end of the week I start smelling a bit so in summers I generally have a bath twice a week
