From the Bruceploitation disaster "Fist of Fear, Touch of Death," which claimed that Bruce Lee was encouraged to fight by tales of his samurai ancestors, completely forgetting that samurais were Japanese, not Chinese.

In other words, an excuse to use stock footage and milk dollars from Lee's name.

  • In a way Bruce Lee was a Samurai as he didn't fear being outnumbered and was also very wise and knew there was always a way for the enemy to be defeated

  • i'll be damned if my hero bruce lee is japanese and not chinese AHAHAHAHA...im sure his grandfather was probably a master swordsman/martial artist in china...but not a samurai xD not saying the samurai weren't BA but there were plenty of good fighters in china too...

  • sikm mas bruce lee aprendeu kung fu nao samuray

  • You're wrong. There's factual proof that Bruce Lee had samurai ancestry. Read his bio.

  • OMG...this is so stupid...Read your History Books people...Bruce Lee was of Chinese Lineage...Samurais were of Japanese Origin and Lineage...there was no way Bruce Lee's Grandfather was a Samurai...Not to mention the fact that Samurais didnt exist in the 18th-20th century, they were a much older Secret Sect.
