  • I wish all cyclists were like this. Some just don't realize that "share the road" goes for bikes too. Can't tell you how many times I've been part of a long line of cars stuck behind a bike in the middle of the lane on a 2-lane road....with a shoulder.

  • It all depends on traffic volumes, debris on the shoulder, and the width of the shoulder. If there is only a 2 foot shoulder and a narrow road I ride near the middle. It's the safest way to ride and makes you most visible and predictable.
