Jason Richmond provides an overview of microphone recording techniques and discuss mic positioning, pickup patterns, as well as pairing microphones and preamps. Our second video features the acoustic guitars used in the performance as we discuss the types of wood used, body shapes and styles, as well as why we chose each guitar for specific parts. The third video details the techniques used to mix all of the tracks. We demonstrate how we used compression, EQ, Reverb and Delay as well as showing the different pieces of gear used. @soundpurestudios I like smaller guitars, generally - the C10 Sunburst to look at (but needs a slotted headstock!)  but the sound of the Baby 2H by a hair.
