Notes:
My Opinion:
This is the first ever that I know of assisted opening OTF. This means it is legal anywhere you can carry an assisted opening knife. Be aware of your cities laws as well though (NYC especially). This means it is LEGAL for all us civillians! YEA! The handle seems a bit large, but I have noticed that on the most expensive auto OTFs as well, same as the slight amount of blade play. 4116 is an OK middle of the road steel used by Cold Steel frequently in their cheaper knives, it is similar to 420HC, which Buck uses constantly on the majority of their knives.
The handles are grippy and good, knife is fast to deploy. Overall, I would say this is a tactical knife, not a utility knife. The cool factor is certainly through the roof. I would suggest it to anyone who wants an OTF that wants to be able to carry it around, or someone who doesnt want to spend hundreds on one that they cant even use off their property.
Advantages:
Legal! Assisted only, non automatic
Handle design actually not bad
Multiple blade choices
Decent pocketclip
Dual safety
Glass breaker can be used as impact device since its larger
Strong spring, doesnt seem to be wearing out
Came sharp
Disadvantages
-Pocket clip may rub hand, but easy fix
-Hard to retract at first
-Static spring with no easy retracting
-Jimping could be better
-Handle large for amount of blade
-Tip down only, right side only carry
yoo man would you recomend this over shrades assisted otf knife?

@DCMOCOFLOW its basically the same knife, made by the same people, so its really just personal preference.

hey would this be legal in maryland i really want one but dont know assisted nives are legal here but idk about this one please help
Magicrules508 11 months ago
@Magicrules508 If assisted knives are legal, then this is one that is. Technically it is assisted. However, local cops who do not know the law may say it is not. While knives are technically following the law sometimes they are still called out by non educated people whether it is civilians, LEO, or even judicial or legal.
Point is, use at your own risk. Technically yes it is legal, but I would be willing to sacrifice it and/or defend its usage to a LEO or court.

Dude great video very helpful, i was just wonderin, if you put the knife (blade in) up to a soft target and released the blade would it have enough power to shoot into it?

@Wyatttorix95 not really, most OTFs dont.
