Warren Cahill guitar Brick Lane - London Sept 2010 [ video by Heri Mkocha ].mp4

Forget X Factor/American Idol wannabes..this is raw talent. I spotted Warren Cahill in the madness that is Brick Lane's Sunday Market in Whitechapel , East London. From a distance it sounded as if I heard 2 guitarist and some kind of drummer playing.Then I realized it was one guy doing it all on his one guitar.

He is tapping the guitar body to get the drum sound and accompanying himself with two guitar parts.Guitar tapping it's called i think.

technical issues:

I was out there testing a lense on the camera, so please excuse the
out of focus stuff (look at the wall behind him, it's sharp in focus, while he is a bit more blurred

sound:

There is so much noise at the market, I spent longer on the audio mix
than the video to bring him out of all that noise. multi band compression,
notch eq, eq peak boosts (for the drumming taps), and stereo field manipulation..plus maximizing at the end...it took a while.

Anyway,anyone who has ever been to brick lane on a sunday knows there are loads of

amazing street musicians carpeting that street, and im not the only one that's filmed them,

just search youtube.

kool , none taken! No one is paying me to put those

street musician vids im just blown away by the talent literally

sitting on the streets of London. But it's like they're inivisble,

while we have some incredible rubbish on the Wack factor

and American Idle. Everything in life at the moment

is the wrong way round.-

i have never for the life of me met the guy who recorded this video, this was the only meeting in Bricklane, and i must say thanks again for this Heri, you've sorted me out so much work from this Video, response has been so sweeeeeeeet.
