TOTALLY BRO, when i go to a Marvel film i look for godfather level plot line and acting, humor is for movies that dont want to be any good, and its a crutch for people who cant act. I went into the Avengers assuming it would be like the Dark knight, right, serious, dark, brooding, and humorless. Avengers sucked man, thats why its has a 93% rating on rotten tomatoes and an 8.8 on IMDB. Horrible fucking movie, totally agree.

Marvel comics, especially for the characters in Avengers, are classically rife with humor, and I don't know where you got the horribly incorrect idea that any of these films were going to be modeled after the Nolans', and rival DC's, Batman, when each of Marvel's films tied into Avengers were never focused on such constant seriousness at all, especially with Joss brought aboard with his famous humor. You sabotaged yourself.
