looked more like blind side to me he was also turning to the player who hit him which may have cause a concussion
-
@justincgs Right, let me come at you and elbow your head at full force with the old pads, see how you'll feel.
-
It was a clean hit. shoulder didn't hit head. The player wasn't ready for it. But Still clean. Give theguy an nhl contract if he can hit that well.
-
@69deathklok69 It didn't "fall off", it was broken by the impact and flew off because of that

Listen people... the equipment has gotten out of hand! The HARD PLASTIC on the pads today is what is causing the injuries! When I played we didn't have these HUGE HARD PLASTIC KEVLAR elbow and shoulder pads they have today. The elbow pad HARD PLASTIC CAPS on the tips of the elbows can be used as WEAPONS! The equipment is very HARD PLASTIC like... motocross gear. It's FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!!
THE PROBLEM IS THE EQUIPMENT AND IT'S HARD PLASTIC PADS!

ahahahaha he fucked the first guy then his buddy comes to help and he bucks him too

Nice hit
Why is nobody concerned that his helmet fell off, this should not happen. Maybe if equipment was on properly the damage would not have been so severe.

Giving this the thumbs up, it's an example of the OHL punishing the result of an incident and not the action. To call it an intent to injure, you must also look at all of the near misses of the past.
OHL should be ashamed at their "twofacedness" in this. I don't know the rules now, but when I played, anyone under 18 is mandated to wear a full face shield with a secured chin strap. It would have negated most, if not all of the major injuries in this situation.
