@joe0813 Yeah I know, good hobby choice! A "reef keeper'' is a device used to manage all of the systems in your aquarium, and do emergency protocol when things go wrong. The keeper automatically give you call or text notifications when feeding time is required, and will shut a filter and power head systems off during a set duration for the fish to feed. The most common system of this type is the Apex Jr. Look it up =)

@sunbeammeme yea i think i need two.... yes iam just starting out in the hobby and its already addicting. i have a drilled 75gal tank, proflex model 2 sump, reef octopus 1000sss skimmer... whats a reef keeper??

Are you just starting out in the reefing world? WELCOME! It is addicting though.
Start out with a 30 gallon, the next thing you know you are buying a reef keeper system for your 100 gallon reef!
