Sudanese Referendum Briefing - STAND

On January 9, 2011, the people of South Sudan will vote on whether to secede from North Sudan. As part of the peace agreement both sides must ensure that the vote occurs on time and most importantly that the outcome is peacefully respected. As the date approaches, many do not see this to be the case. With a possibility of a 3rd Sudanese Civil War and the potential for further genocide in an already war-torn country, will you stand by? or choose to STAND UP!?
