First real snake hunt of the year. Reed and I in the Georgian Bay area poking around. We had a pretty good day.
In the evening, my wife recorded Reed recounting highlights from our trip while she put him to bed. It was really sweet so I cut it up and put some video footage over it. It's not very well covered (believe me, it's almost impossible to watch this kid and set up a shot), but there's something of a short subject in there.
Reed is now 3 and he keeps getting more and more fun. It's a long drive and there's lots of walking and it was a very hot day, but he didn't complain about any of that. By the end of the day, I think we had both had it with the blackflies, though.
Camera: Canon T2i 550D, Sigma 28mm lens.
Audio recorded on an ipod touch.
Music: Damien Jurado, Montesano, from the album "Now That I'm In Your Shadow".
Used with great appreciation, but without permission.
I cant believe you recorded the audio with an ipod touch! Given the limited resources you had, I'd say you did an amazing job. I was just looking for videos taken with the t2i since I was looking at getting one and I must say, I am amazed.

I use the 3-way color-corrector in Final Cut. I see all these amazing videos that use magic bullet, but it seems like a lot of money to me. I can get similar results, plus I have complete control using Final Cut.
