I love this film...another shining example of why i think Park is one of the best directors in the world today

Lady Vengeance was the first I saw of the trilogy, saw it on shop shelves a few times and it always caught my eye. I eventually saw the other movies of the trilogy and im a cyborg / thirst etc all brilliant movies. I think Lady Vengeance my favorite of them because it was the first one I saw, I've fallen for korean cinema ever since - Bittersweet Life is another amazing movie. I saw the devil yet again another amazing korean movie.
But to get back on topic, this movie and ending is amazing.

I agree with rygaen about the scene with the kids -- the parents' watching the kids on video. To shikakimushrooms: you have to see the whole movie to get what eating the cake (actually tofu, according to the subtitles) is about. It's a really powerful movie and deserves way more attention than Old Boy got.
