no religions promotes hatred, every religion clearly promotes peace but unfortunately there is always a minority of evil people in all religions. remember this life is a test and we will all return back to ALLAH swt. Allah forgives every individual who repents(asks forgiveness). whether you are a Muslim or Hindu or whatever religion you are, i suggest you all ask for forgiveness as Allah swt always forgives. if you don't then you will pay the price in this world or life after. Brilliant documentary, what an eyeopener. I just wish people live in peace with love and harmony. people are all the same on both side, it is just needed to understand each other. I think India needs mass campaign for education.

@koncernedcitizen1 it is because largely muslims are peaceful that is why no further retaliations were made. Events like Gujarat killings is a sad history for secular India. We should regret it rather praise the acts of brutal inhumane killings on either side.

It's pitiful that Hindus had to resort to this to defend their safety. But one thing is for sure, this violent episode in 2002 has been quite effective in keeping Gujarat free of riots for the past 10 years. Perhaps these terrorists have learned their lesson after all.
