Teenager Bob Troy is having a bad time -- his girlfriend thinks he's dull, he's "out of pep" on the gridiron and he's "fed up" with life in general. His coach, Mr. Farrell, knows the reason -- and sets him straight by telling him to get more sleep and eat the right foods. Since this film was sponsored by the National Dairy Council, those "right foods" include a quart and a half of milk and a stick of butter a day. Urp. "How easy and pleasant it is to eat intelligently!"
Excellent stock shots: high-school football, bowling, milk being poured and other dairy foods, families sitting around the kitchen table.
Producer: Chicago Film Studios of Chicago Film Laboratory

I don't know what it is, but this film makes me hungry for a chart.

That's what's wrong with kids today. No dairy. Or worse. They drink soy milk. Which isn't milk. Homo milk is milk. And good milk too.

The door to the gynasium looks like the door to an outhouse.
Oh, Bob, you're such a smooth talker with the girls.

I can only hope Bob does not turn to the dark side of the force!

It's all in knowing how to edit film....
These days, this would be a commercial about Bob's needing testosterone pills or green butterflies to help him sleep (with a ten minute disclaimer about the side effects).
Cool film. Thanks for uploading it.
