This is the best I could come up with in my attempt to make something float in mid air without using electromagnetism, diamagetism/graphite, or superconductors.
An invention in its self really. From this principle of magnetic repulsion shows the manner in how my pen (in my next video(s))stays balanced upright and on its end. The leverage in the wooden stick is required so far and the rubber band on the bottom provides only the anchor so that it doesn't fly off.
The magnets on the steel bowl and hanging magnets are all neodymium magnets. The bowl magnets are in a ring shape and slightly curved into a bowl shape which helps (funnel) the hanging magnet inward. All the magnets face the same way on the base N or S polarity and under the hanging magnet is the same N or S polarity causing repulsion and makes the whole system work.
