@certifiedhealthnut I like the ideal of having my child in a hospitle with a mid wife , BUt with no drugs . That way "just in case" somthing should go wrong. But i do agree in a hospelt they want you to push the baby out as fast as you can instead of letting everything go "natural"

@certifiedhealthnut My mom was mad that i didn't have my son "cut" but I read up on it and there is not any big reason to do so. So i left him the way he was ment to be :)

@toiletbrains just so you know people don't have home births on a whim. they PLAN and have professionals there that are capable of dispensing certain drugs if needed, as well as stitch tears, etc. and of course there is someone there who can take the child and woman to the nearest hospital if needed. MORE babies die in hospitals than during home births. watch the business of being born. it explains everything.

There is pros and cons to a home birth. I was about to have one with my second but had to get a section in the end, I was very upset. The thing is you don't have to say yes to the drugs they offer you, don't think because a doctor is saying this is good. it's okay. I did have to get the Epidural during the section and that ruined me. Does not matter where you have your baby as long as you love and protect that child when it's born.

@FutureScience2012 Well you could say that but up until the 1960's where I'm from, most babies were born at home. So It's just really going back to our roots.

@certifiedhealthnut How about You guys agree to disagree and just marvel the miracle of birth and bringing a healthy little baby into the world... Have your kid how you want... leave it up to others to choose how they want to have their child. Having a kid at a hospital DOES NOT in ANY WAY mean you love your child any less, that's a ridiculous claim! Having a baby at home seems good to me.. Either way.. just have your friggin baby, lol...
I hope they left his penis intact . Looking at him that he was just born , I cant imagine hurting him by circumcising him . My mom left me intact and ever since then i never had a problem with my intact penis . I like to remind people in the U.S. that there is nothing wrong with leaving your baby intact .

Just because people have babies in hospitals doesn't mean they don't love their kids! It's kinda rude for u to say it like, "NATURAL because we love him." and u can actually get amazing doctors at great hospitals!

@kristy349349 hospitals and doctors are great for emergency care however when you are educated and empowered on how your body functions doctors and hospitals are useless and potentially VERY detrimental to ones health UNLESS one is in an ACUTE situation! our 2nd child was born in the hospital, thank god as they helped my wife and daughter however we did everything we could to get out asap and with the LEAST amount of TOXIC drugs that were offered to us night and day!!!

@certifiedhealthnut not in a million years would i risk having my baby at home. Sure its natural and were meant to do it etc, but i just couldnt live with myself if something went wrong and i couldnt get help in time. This all sounds kinda like feministy rubbish but to each their own.
