Buchu Jeon (부추전) is one of the popular Korean snacks. Sometimes Koreans like to eat pancakes on rainy days because it is a simple and quick snack to make without going out in the rain. Many Koreans believe that garlic chives helps fight colds and makes the stomach strong. If you can't find jeon flour (Korean pancake mix,) then you can use normal flour with the addition of one egg.

  • Wow!!! That looks great. I think it is time for me to run to Hmart. :)

  • @IceCream1506 Really any vegetables, maybe green onions?

  • what can i use instead of garlic chives?

I can't find it in my country.. -.-

  • This looks very similar to Singaporean/Malaysian pancakes!

  • @MizukiSan1515 The base of this pancake is just the flour and water mix; you can put ANYTHING you want (or not want) in it. Her version is with chives thus the name and the recipe vid, but you can put potatoes, onions, octopus, kimchi... Almost any ingredient you like that can be finely chopped can be used, so go wild.

  • @yakurimoe I dont like to eat red pepper, can i exclude them?
