  • I didn't see the movie yet, but for some reason I start thinking of some of the wonderful and "simple" Italian movies there are out there, with a simple message but so powerful, humane and full of wonder and love?

I can't wait to see this movie.

  • i agree that presopolis is a great movie but ratatouile a good cgi movie as well the way it brought the story to the audience is awesome.

  • I'm american and non-Muslim; i'll admit to having taste most americans consider 'unconventional', but, regarding Presopolis, i've never seen in my entire life a story so well-rounded. It incorporated harsh drama with humour, art, family connection, romance, politics, depression, and even violence. It's absolutely the richest tapestry of genres i've ever seen. It shows a human life in all its glory and lackluster. There are precious few films that meet the artistic standard of Presopolis.

  • Well then why do you bitch about it losing if you don't take the Oscars seriously.

  • Now that woman has a great designer what an outfit!

  • Iran is so far out of the mid stream nor understanding if the world. He lives under the impression that he is more important than the rest of us...and considers egomania and hatred intelligence.

  • Ratatouille was great. What is wrong with many of you is that you vote with your religion's heart and not for fun and quality. We American's love the European's and love when the win. We enjoy them.

  • You're wrong. "Persepolis" was a good movie. But "Ratatouille" was excellent, maybe the best CGI movie ever, and a profound movie about the struggle of an artist to fulfill his expression.

  • Very true, and most art film junkies (such as myself) don't take the oscars very seriously when compared to Cannes, Toronto, and Berlin.
