CTR [NTSC] TT - [2.17.37] @ Cortex Castle (w/ Cortex)

Yo, this speed glitch is nuts.

So if I can get enough full-gauge boosts and time a slide boost with the huge boost ramp, it gives me even better boost. Just look at this, it shaved me about FOUR_SECONDS off my records.

And before this run I got around 2.18 with Coco. The problem was that Coco's speed boost post-huge boost ramp did not last as long as it did for Cortex here. I'm not sure if it's just the character or the lack of full-gauge boosts on my part, but Coco does steer worse than Cortex so it might have got something to do with it...

Freaking nuts, I don't know how much I can improve my times at this point. Might have to move to other tracks soon.

@MrJelloes Full gauge boosts (as many as possible) and seriously holding down the X button. Do not use brakes at all. If you are timing your power slides just like I am, then I have no idea what you could be doing wrong... can you record your TT run? It'd help if I could observe your run and see what you could be doing wrong.

could you explain me how to do this? i get 30+ turbo counter and time my power slide exactly like you do.. still my boost isn't nearly as long as you and doesn't even make it past the first corner with the 2 spiders
