Dictionaries often give definitions of words that have very different values and meanings in everyday or media speech. And yes, of course you get alot of results if you google the phrase; it's widely used by non-Muslims and Islamophobes as a term to describe someone who is literally 'apologising' for perceived negatives about Islam. To me, it just seems like a term that Melanie Phillips would use in the Daily Mail. But anyway... if Sami Zataari is fine with it...

INshallah it will come out all right

Salaam... Sounds interesting... but I don't understand why you've used the phrase 'Muslim apologist' at 0:22 ... it's usually used as a derisory term, definitely not a compliment...

According to Webster it means:
Noun1. apologist - a person who defends, in speech or writing, a faith, doctrine, idea, or action.
Google "Muslim apologist" you should get over a million results where this phrase is used.
