Most of the video footage is taken in the streets of Cairo as soon as Egypt attains its victory in the final round of the African Cup against Cameroon. Its not the most exciting part of town. I probably should have gone closer to downtown where its a bit more lively and crowded. Oh well. However, its interesting to see the streets go from empty to suddenly becoming filled with honking cars celebrating. You can see the transition take place immediately.
Im uploading this video about 30 minutes or so after the victory and I still hear cars honking in even larger quantity now, and now theres firecrackers and people chanting in the streets.
no, this is the full victory. From Feb. 10 (yesterday). Its not the most exciting part of town so the video doesnt really do enough justice I must admit. Downtown Cairo was much more lively and loud
