ROSSI RULES ! Going home to Roslindale. I know every damn spot there is. I grew up there. Hi to all the "hoodsie's" that we all knew so very long ago. I often dream of those days. I will never forget. The Shelter, Healy field,Bustoffs, Rossi sq., Santoro's,The Rialto, Archdale, the apartments. Even summer thing.I wish I knew then, what I know now. Louie,I remember too. And the grand disaster with P.C. But I left Rossi in my 30's. Wish it was like I remember it. It was beautiful back in the day.

Roslindale named after "Roslyn" Scotland way back originally it was known as "South Street Crossing" among other names. The Rialto movie theater, Santoro's bakery {Awsome Siscilian Pizza} Shermans, Park Snows, all gone now but back in the mid to late 70's Roslindale at night had nothing but rolled down grates it looked like a ghetto but has made a comeback but not like it was and will never be... I lived here all my life but its time to go i feel

If you're talking about the pic with the Red Sox mural, it's Firth Road, next to Healy Field.

I've been gone 20 years. Is Kara's still there? I prefered them to Henry's. Lots of memories, nice to see that.

There is a variety store there, but it's no longer Kara's. I believe it is now Spanish-owned, not Greek. I was always more of a Henry's guy, anyway.

No MJ's?

I didn't include it because they moved and the MJ's from my youth was down by the Home Market corner.
