i think it was a combination of not wanting either side east or west Germany i know i wouldn't have wanted Russians or the Americans either. the Russians were bad and so were the Americans just trying to exploit poor Germany and her riches

I agree that Germany should never have been recreated as a state after WWII. I cant believe that the germans havent learned not to shoot at unarmed civilians after WWII.
