John Carmack's next game in 2007-2008

John Carmack's next gen untitled project for PS3,Xbox360 and PC. Awesome Graphics and Solid textures! This was show in ID's Tech5. Most of you know John Carmack will bring the very latest graphics and technology the world has ever known. He is the creater of 3d games(Wolf3d the very first 3d game and first person shooter). 2004
Doom 3 was released and still the game looks upto date. Now after 3years project he is ready to launch his next game around December 2007 - January 2008. And mostly this game will be shown completely in E3 and the title name will be announced. Listen to the John's speech carefully for the kind of technologies he's used in the game it will surely shatter your mind. And also he's the only person who is confident on how to program for the PS3's Cell processor and this would be the first game which will make use of the complete power of the Xbox360 and PS3. Carmack may be the most confident on how to program the Cell, but he still may not be the most capable... Unless he can specifically trick-out the PS3 version, he's not really proving anything by claiming something but not showing it.

Rage will be 60fps on all platforms.

Carmack is thinking about the next generation, like the continued use of polygons and the virtualization of geometry. It's been 3 years since 360 debuted so Microsoft will probably release 720 in a couple of years, a short timespan for developers. Watch Carmack's Quakecon 2007 Keynote.
