  • @CADtekk Certainly I think "growth" has gone weird. Probably people younger than us are growing into this world in such a way that it makes complete sense to them and they'll be able to expand upon the new technologies like there was never anything before them. We're getting old, aren't we? All generations have this feeling at some point! :)

  • I wonder what Tim Hunkin would have to say about all the new technology, and his sidekick Rex?

Its true about everything being modular based now, including cars!! Would dread taking a Prius apart!!! I used to show the videos in Science and Technology classes so lets hope I switched someone on?

Another problem with old technogy is that most people have chucked it out.Try finding a video player now to play all those VHS tapes, let alone Betamax!!!

  • @maibeppu9 Quite possibly! Or science and technology in general; just the pleasure of taking things apart and seeing how they work. Nowadays you wouldn't be able to make the same programme; think about what you could take apart that would be interesting in the same way. mp3 players, laptops, flat screen TVs, digi boxes - they're all just different configurations of seemingly identical, largely unmoving computer parts.

  • @feckingbillgates

    Ive just seen the shows again,all 3 series,on thebox.bz

That show was fantastic and must have made a lot of youngsters get into Engineering?

  • this is classic, mixed with classy style, ill take you for a run, a mile in my shoes hun, its what you want, you just dont know that yet, just come cruise, and ill put that in your head, at ease, just ooze with the flow, you already know, how i run this show, from head to toe, im hip-hop and soul, reggae lovers rock, to the tip-top road,

  • WTF!?!?

Its like a Mix from Reggae,Jazz,Pop, and CLassic...

    WounderfulL!!

  • Good Reggae representation of a Jazz Classic. It's a tough one to translate to Reggae. Not tough in the sense of difficult but tough because you risk being flamed by purists. The 5/4 time signature was one of the main points of the original. I'm sure translating this to common time grates against some traditionalists. But keeping it in 5/4 wouldn't produce the undeniable Reggae feel that this rendition has. Keeping the first 3 bars in 5/4 time is a nice nod to this songs origins.

  • 0 d1sl1kes hahaha!!!

  • @stashu72 Yeah. I'm checking this out because of nostalgia for The Secret Life of Machines. That show was great!

  • and a whole 3.40 mins as well....
