Pure, articulate, uncomplicated.... simply precise. Everyone has a unique style, be it singing or playing, but Kevin's style just defines what the guitar was intended for. It's inseparable from the person... a part of him. And I truly like what I hear.

Kevin demonstrates that solo acoustic can be thoughtful and melodic and not always busy and technically flashy a la the Tommy Emmanuel style that so many players copy.

his sound and approach are the very reason I put down the pick.. to me the fingers are just more natural and intuitive.. the sound seems more "alive and connected" just my two cents... there seems to be no intercessor between him and the guitar.. its his mind and sound that flow through...
