Had a go at creating a time-lapse video earlier. Not bad for a first-timer. :) I just put the camera in my bedroom window on top of my subwoofer. As you can tell, it's pretty boring round here. :P

This was a total of 1,790 photos shot at 3 second intervals over two hours, as the batteries conked out then. :P I will find out how to disable the LCD screen while doing this to extend the battery life (but I'm planning on buying a power adapter for it anyway, so that means I could leave it going nonstop for days, provided it doesn't fill up the 16GB SD card I bought for it :P). I'll also remember to take the pictures in widescreen next time. :P


Oh yeah, my camera is a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS, and I used the CHDK firmware combined with an intervalometer script to allow endless continuous shooting (the standard firmware only lets you take 10 shots at a time).
