@MrCopticforever Hmmm i haven't taken my ds apart yet so i cant really tell by looking at the video, my assumption is maybe when u removed the soldering joints under the ds and, it was replaced improperly, there the inverted that turns the screen off when the ds is closed is now shorted and turns of your ds.

Top screen and hinge breaks often when dropped. You can save a lot of money repairing it yourself. That's what I'm doing and i'm getting a free ds lite out of it.
