After the last episode (discover that Amir has commitment issues) and this episode (subtle but deep tension between Harel and his dad), I am very intrigued by this show now...doesn't hurt that Harel and Amir are pure eye candy lol

But wow...it's starting to become quite a deep show.

Wow! We certainly went past the bland parental reassurances from parents of gays on TV from other countries. Harel's question about aborting him if his father knew he'd be gay made me think about research to find the gay gene. Would there be a rise in abortions of gay babies if parents could pinpoint their children's gayness? If it was on record, would there be more discrimination against gays because of it? I'm just glad Harel's father loves his son, even if he is trying to change him.

@15coyote That reminds me of an older movie dealing with this issue precisely, called "Twilight of the Golds". You should check it out! Me, I would never abort my kid if I learned s/he was gay. It's utterly ridiculous to me, but I know there are other gay people who would.

The scene reminds me of when my mother outed me. One of teh few times my father got really angry with her and told her to shut up. He stood up for me and told my mum and me how proud he was of me and how much he loved me, no matter how bigoted some people in the world might be.

I'm really impressed by the acting and the script. is the series just about these 2 guys, or are they just 2 characters from an entire show?
