I bite down my bottom lip nervously, tucking a lock of lose hair behind my ear "We meet again" I mumble looking at the floor.


He doesn't say anything for a long time, he just stares at me with curious eyes. I keep my eyes glued to the floor waiting for him to say something, anything, just so I know were we are. "You haven't changed one bit" he finally says narrowing his eyes.


I narrow my eyes, a giggle escaping my lips "Is that a compliment?" I ask playfully, just like in high school. My eyes meet his "I think you should get up before people start to think you died from the fall" I joke curling my lips into a sarcastic smile.


Nick looks at the staring crowd "Good point" he whispers before getting up. A groan escapes his lips and I grab his arm to help him up.


"Are you ok?" I ask, my tone filled with concern "that was a really bad fall"


Nick waves a hand "I have fallen harder" his eyes meet mine and my heart squeezes.


I drop my gaze again, letting go of his arm. "Wow!" Joe walks towards us laughing unable to control his laughter. "Nice going little bro" he says putting an arm around his shoulders "You just made the hall of stupidity" he jokes making Taylor giggle.


"Oh, now he's next to you, Joe" Miley adds cutely with a smile making everyone, but Joe laugh.


Nick gets away from Joe and walks slowly towards me. "I-it's nice to see you again" he whispers looking at me.


I nod and try my best to smile, even tho I'm dying inside. "Me too" I lie.


I was about to walk away wen I felt his strong arms around me, he pushed me into his chest and my arms automatically wrapped themselves around his neck, as if they've always belonged there. After a while he pulled away and smiling he nodded his head towards the bar, his curly locks bouncing from the movement, "Do you want a beer?"


"Yeah" I modded. I turned to the rest and asked "Anybody wants anything?"


With suspicious smiles they all shook their heads. "Nah, don't worry. I don't think you'll be back anytime soon" Taylor said winking at Nick.


Nick rolled his eyes, and we both walked towards the bar side to side. "So... You're here for Taylor's wedding, I presume" he sat on one of the booths in front of the wooden bar.


I sat on the one next to him and rested my arms on the cool bar, I exterminated it closely, it was real wood, not like the old bar that was made of some kind of weird plastic, also, it wasn't sticky like the last one. "You did a great job with the place" I said avoiding his question.


Nick smiled, his eyes shinning with pride "Thank you. I think it is better than the old Clipper" he chuckles waving at the bartender.


"Why didn't you sell it?" I ask turning to him with curious eyes. "Why spend all that money on this place?"


The bartender sets two cold Bud light beer bottles on the counter, Nick takes one and hands me the other one. I take it ans watch him closely as he thinks for an answer to my question "Too much history in this place" he takes a sip of his beer.


I look at the bottle in my hand, I play with a tiny piece of ice that rested on the glass and watch it melt on my fingertip. "What kind of history?" I asked looking for an specific answer from him.


Nick shrugs "Oh, you know. My eighteen birthday was in here, my first beer was here..." His eyes meet mine again "My first kiss was here..." He looks around "Actually it was exactly were I'm sitting" he smiles.


I smile looking at my bottle knowing exactly he was talking about me, about our first kiss. "This place is filled with history" I giggle finally meeting his eye.


"I'm glad you're here" he says staring deeply into my eyes.


I stared back into his eyes, recognizing that look, it was the same look he gave me right before we shared our first kiss... Did he wanted to kiss me?!


"Nick?" A voice made both of us turn around with wide guilty eyes.
